I think it's pretty stupid that she lost the crown just because she stated her opinion that the judge/judges didn't agree with. The judging shouldn't be based on the opinion itself, but how well you get our point across. I would have stated my belief even if it cost me the crown.

Hazing is a ritualistic test and a task involving harassment, abuse or humiliation used as a way of initiating a person into a gang, club, or other group. I've heard of people doing innocent pranks or other things to get into a sorority or fraternity and I think that's ok, but not when it comes to harming another person or yourself.

During my spring break I slept in late almost every day. I went to the beach twice and the rest of the time I just relaxed.

I enjoy baking. I have a sweet tooth so if there's nothing sweet to eat at my house, i just make something. I make homemade cookies, brownies, and cakes. Last week I made a red velvet cake and everybody said it was really good, it was ok to me. The cake I am most "famous" for is my pound cake. It's really moist and just delicious!

My mom has probably had the most influence on me. Parents are usually the answer to those type of questions because you are with them for most of your childhood and teen years.

My family is all really close, especially on my mom's side. With the older cousins going to college and moving away, it's hard to get together, but when we can, we have a great time. Occasionally we go on trips. One time we went to the mountains and rented a huge house and all 17 of us stayed in the house together and played games and cooked huge meals. I loved it. We also go to the beach during the summer when we can.

My BIGGEST pet peeve is when people are rude and obnoxious for no reason. Most of the time people don't even realize they're being that way and end up looking like a fool. I guess that's their punishment for being rude.....looking like a fool.

This past weekend I was in Atlanta at a swim meet. Besides being at the swim meet, me and my parents vistited with my brother who lives in Atlanta and my cousin and her fiance. One night we went to Starbucks and got coffee and sat there for 3 hours and talked...it was great. We shopped a little and came home on Sunday.

I don't think that the way someone parts their hair determines their personality or the way someone percieves them. You determine, to some extent, the way others look at you, but your environment, the way you were raised, and other factors mostly influence that aspect.

I love to make desserts. Cakes, cookies, and basically anything sweet I love to cook and eat. I found a recipe for brownies the other day and I decided to try them out last night. I took them out right before they were done, so they would be a little gooey. I left them out to cool and then came back to cut me a piece and put some ice cream with it. Obviously everyone else in my house approved of them too because when I went downstairs this morning there was just a little bit left in the pan. I'll probably make some more tonight.

Everyone has done at least one thing in their life that's considered to be "regrettable behavior". When someone becomes famous, the media is constantly looking for something in their past or waiting for them to screw up so their station can have something to report on. I'm glad that Michael Phelps admitted to smoking marijuana and didn't try to cover up and say that the picture wasn't him. He did the right thing and apoligized for his actions and promised to his fans to never do it again.

I like cold weather during the winter months,

but I wouldn't like it if it was cold all of the time.

I like skiing, snow, wearing coats, and turning

on the heater during the winter. But, my

favorite time of year is the summer when

I'm at the beach or the pool. My ideal day

is sitting out on the beach soakin' up the

sun and going into the ocean every once

in a while. I guess you could call me a beach babe:)

I am not a morning person. If I could, I would stay up all night and sleep during the day. On the weekdays, I set my alarm for 6:30 and usually don't get out of the bed until about 6:45. I've figured out I have to leave my house at the latest by 7:52 to get to school on time. On the weekends, when I don't have swim meets, I can sleep until 11 or 12 o'clock. I'm usually running to my first block to get there on time.

I really think that not eating breakfast can contribute to weight gain and obesity. Those who don't eat breakfast are likely to be more hungry throughout the day and eat more than those who do eat breakfast. Also eating breakfast will help raise your metabolism and you will be healthier than those who skip out.

Never lend your car to anyone to whom you have given birth. ~Erma Bombeck

The quote means exactly what it says. Some parents don't trust their kids with a vehicle because they don't think they'll be safe with it. I think it applies to most parents and their kids to some extent. Parents are usually hesitant about letting their teen drive. They are even more hesitant about letting their teen drive their car because they question whether the teen and the car will get home in one piece.

I think the defeat by Covenant of Dallas Academy was shameful. The way the players continued to shoot 3-pointers into the 4th quarter was boastful and disrespectful. There should be some type of mercy rule like there is in football to prevent such a disgraceful win. It is acknowledgeable that the Covenant team apoligized but it still doesn't make up for the embarrassment that it caused the Dallas Academy team.

I've heard of a lot of girls in Coffee County sending nude pictures of themselves to others, but I never really thought of it as child pornography. But now that I think about it, it really is. Girls who participate in this sad act are really just desperate for attention. They don't realize that once you start something like that, it never goes away. You can't control who views the images or when to stop it.

Along with going to the Inauguration while in Washington, our group also went to a lot of other places. When we arrived on Saturday, we went to the Holocaust Museum. It was very sad and shocking to see the devastation that such hatred caused. We also went to the Air and Space Museum, Arlington Cemetary, and the Lincoln Memorial. Sunday we went to Mount Vernon, Ford's Theater, and we saw the White House. Monday we went to the national cathedral, the national history museum, and the natural history museum. I am so glad I had the opportunity to go on this trip. I know I will remember it forever.

On January 20, 2009, I was at the Presidential Inauguration. It was one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced. The morning of the inauguration, Ms. Quenzer and the rest of us waited in line for the metro along with a half a million other people. You could tell that everyone was happy and in a good mood. Everyone felt united and safe. At the Inauguration we were so far back, but there was a screen about a hundred feet away. Actually seeing such a historical moment take place and being part of it was indescribable. A day before the Inauguration there is a concert. After the Inauguration there is a parade and that night a ball.

Tanning and excessive sun exposure can cause severe damage to eyes.

Eye rubbing, yoga head stands, weightlifting, sleeping face down, playing instruments that require a lot of breath, swimming, and other activities that limit oxygen cause increased eye pressure and can lead to pressure-related eye diseases such as glaucoma,(which can lead to blindness) myopia, and short-sightedness.

Reading under dim light and sitting too close to the TV causes eye strain and damages eyes.

I am compassionate.
I want to have a family one day.
I have two older brothers
I wish I had some el potro chips and salsa right now.
I hate roaches.
I fear lonliness
I hear people typing.
I search the internet.
I wonder what I will be when I get out of college.
I regret nothing.
I love Travis.
I ache to shop.
I always take a shower in the morning.
I usually smile.
I am not sad.
I dance hardly ever.
I sing in the car.
I never want to be unhappy.
I rarely have a headache.
I cry rarely.
I am not always on time.
I lose track of time sometimes.
I'm confused sometimes.
I need money.
I should get a job.
I dream big.
